Early Childhood FASST
Early Childhood FASST is a voluntary in-home program to assist children and their caregivers when the children are identified to have behavior problems and/or developmental delays.
A voluntary prevention/early intervention program designed to help young children, birth to age 5 years, who are experiencing developmental and/or behavioral concerns, and their families. An Early Childhood FASST team is comprised of a Family Advocate and Family Support Coordinator, with access to a mental health professional, as needed. The team provides community-based services, including service coordination, family support, information and referral, individualized intervention planning, linkages to community resources, consultation to child care centers, mentoring and coaching. Services are provided in the home and in the child’s day care setting if needed.
