We also provide family support services to families in need of assistance.
The center has been in operation since November 1990––under license number C-TA-13021. We are NAEYC accredited and Five Star provider.St. Francis serves children ages 6 weeks through 12 years old. St. Francis provides transportation to those children who attend Sulphur, Cleveland, Seminole, and Foster Elementary Schools. St. Francis believes that home away from home should provide a warm, safe and secure environment where children can have positive, loving experiences designed to help them play, grow and learn. Other family support activities include; working on family goals, monthly parent meetings, computer access, and monthly family activities that all families can particiapte in. Parents as Partners in Literacy Program (PPL) is another program offered for families which allows for parents to spend quality time with their children that is both educational and fun. Through PPL families are able to check out books from the center library and children ages three and older take monlthy field trips to the local library. St. Francis also provides a Wellness Program where weekly educational newsletters are sent to parents to help educate and motivate them to eat healthy and stay active with their young children. Furthermore, children receive nutrition education that is interactive and teaches the skills they need to adopt healthy eating habits.
